This is probably set in gun controlled states, if everyone is armed with12 gauge shotgun, this will never happened. A 5 inch anti aircraft flak from the US navy will kill a hell bunch of them and the movie ends much sooner.

Some of the birds were real, some of the birds were puppets, and the rest were animated. Its sad to see Melanie Griffith’s mother (the woman) have her scared reactions in the film. Hitchcock tortured her ever since she rejected him. He would have birds tied to her almost pecking at her until she was literally terrified. Hitchcock, good work, shitty personality.

don’t act like those people don’t do hard work in the cgi , but did this movie have good story? and did they explain why are the birds attacking people?
@puffpuffdustbunny it’s the first movie of it’s kind, we don’t think much of it now-but the overhead shots and the wide angle shots of hoards of birds attacking people was unseen and cutting edge. This movie took a lot of work to make and has many great moments in it. CGI makes people lazy- it takes almost no effort to do effects on screen that few directors(Micheal Bay) make an effort to tell a story, it’s all about profit and ticket sales. A profitable movie goes away-a classic lasts.
